The artist’s love for animals and nature really shine in this in this portrait of a Yellow Labrador mother watching over her puppies as they play on the bank of a creek in a field of irises. Mia Lane is a highly regarded fine artist who focuses her work on nature and dogs. In 1988 she was commissioned by the Canadian Post Office to illustrate their series of four stamps dedicated to dogs and was named Canada’s artist of the year in 1991. This 1000 piece puzzle measures 20” x 27” when completed.
