The Hasser?der Brauerei GmbH has a long tradition to look back on. The firm was founded back in 1872 as the Zum Auerhahn (The Capercaillie ) brewery, in Hasserode, a corner stone of the historic town of Wernigerode on the northern edge of the Harz mountains. After an early success towards the end of the 19th century, the reunification of Germany has given it a fresh impetus. Since 1997 the show truck has been used to promote the image and raise awareness of the festivals and other major events in the town. Its impressive presence alone attracts a great deal of attention wherever it goes. Glue and paint are required, and are sold separately.
