When experience with early version of the Phantom aircraft indicated the need for an interanlly mounted cannon, the F-4E was developed with a 6-barrel, 20-mm Vulcan cannon located in an elongated nose section. This improvement made the F-4E the best Phantom variant for dogfighting the MiG aircraft encounted in the skies over Vietnam. Features: Recessed panel lines, two pilot figures. Skill level 3. Plastic cement and paint are required for assembly, and are sold separately.
