Mercedes-Benz developed and unveiled their SLK in 1996 with a inventive hard roof open-close system, to cancel the handicap of traditional roadsters. It was named after initials of three German words, Sportlich (sporty), Leicht (light), and Kompact (compact). Tamiya's kit accurately and completely reproduce the exterior and interior. Optional top included to simulate the roof's open-close system. Model length 6.6 inches. Glue and paint are required, and are sold separately.
