Hi-Tach is a multiple-use product. It is most advantageous as a crankcase oil supplement. However, this represents only a small fraction of the applications in which Hi-Tach may be used effectively. Some others are: power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, wheel hubs, hydraulic systems, hydrostatic drives, marine stern drives, and outboard motor lower gear units. Additionally, there are many potential uses in the industrial sector: drive chains, compressors, generators, and gear drives to name a few. Hi-Tach makes oil cling to all lubricated surfaces. Eliminates dry starts. Eliminates metal-to-metal contact. Does not drain back into sump when machinery is idle. Hi-Tach stabilizes viscosity. Untreated 40 weight oil will break down to a measurement of only 25-30 weight after 1-1/2 to 2 hours running time. Oil treated with Hi-Tach will still measure 38-40 weight after 200 hours running time. Improves ability to withstand heat. Retards lubrication breakdown associated with fuel dilution (particularly critical in diesel engines). Hi-Tach increases lubricity of oil, thereby reducing friction. Reduces heat build-up. Increases efficiency (i.e. fuel mileage). Reduces exhaust emissions.
