This film chronicles the professional and personal lives of the brave, determined Navy sailors who commanded the PT Boats against the Japanese during WWII. At first, many disregarded the small torpedo boats, including some of the officers assigned to them. But an invasion of the PT's by the Japanese led to an explosive battle, giving the Navy a chance to prove how resourceful these tiny boats really were.
