Bodywatch Urinary Tract Infection Test -
This is a simple but effective method to identify bacterial infection from a urine sample. Over 90% of urinary tract infections are caused by bacteria called coliforms, or bacteria from the colon. These bacteria convert a substance called nitrate, normally found in the urine, to another substance called nitrite. The BodyWATCH test detects the presence of nitrite in the urine and hence a positive test may indicate the presence of a urinary tract infection.
